He doesn't understand the concept of eternity. If hell wasn't eternal it wouldn't be hell. There is no time in the next life. God is infinite and to commit sin against an infinite being deserves an infinite punishment. Those that die in the state of mortal sin go to hell because once they pass into eternity there are no more chances for them to ask for forgiveness. Only in this life can they make right with God until they die.

I didn't watch the whole video. That guy is intolerable to watch and listen to and everything he spouts isn't that interesting to begin with. Of course I have thought about hell and why God would allow it to exist. Hell is the absence of God. Those who go to hell chose to go to hell. They don't want God. Just like satan chose to go to hell. God gave humans free will. Without God, there is hell. So those that reject God, reject heaven. What other places can one go after they die if they can't go to heaven? They go to hell and hell is torment because it is the complete absence of God.
