It may be he's just testing us to see if we do right by him by kicking out every last commie in our lands
It is about good vs evil. He asked his men if they had swords because he wanted to be numbered among the insurrectionist. He would not hurt anyone but he wanted it known he was not among the wicked priesthood or the Romans. That sounds political to me.

This is one step removed from "no ones doing anything so because we cant put the cart before the horse and win all in one move by going directly to the source, the bankers, therefore we'll never win and everything else is completely useless!"
What it says is "nothing happening...right now" so by implication "nothing will ever happen. We've already failed the test."
If you reduce something to a binary all-or-nothing choice, the result is it just causes most people to stay home.
I never said the test was going to be easy, and the bible makes no mention of this either i believe. The idea is that if someone has corrupted your nation it is uo to US to take it back, either by force, or by debate. I can think of many cases in the bible where an all out war was used to regain land rights, no one just stood around and did fuck all
I see what your saying. Just understand there is a huge range of options between peaceful and...non-peaceful means. Find people and help them find their level, help them to determine what rights for them. And thats what everyone should be doing.
