Well yeah, it's a sin to observe the judaic law, the laws for the jews. This is why St. Paul admonished St. Peter who scandalized the gentiles.

The laws for the Jews came after the laws given to Moses. There is a clear distinction in the Bible. The laws given to Moses are for the Covenant, and placed inside the Ark. The laws for transgressing Jews were placed beside the Ark. They are mutually exclusive. The 10 Commandments have not been done away with.
