Imagine the Bible written by normal and intelligent people.

Just one part could have changed the world:

Life is only one. It is up to the people if they want to live in hell or paradise. When you die, you become part of the universe. But before you die, you have the power to choose between hell vs heaven by building the perfect society. What's the point of living in hell, if you can live in paradise? It is better to die hard or live free, than live like a slave of degenerates.

This cannot happen, and I'll explain why. The Bible is the "word of God." How does God get his word to humanity? He uses prophets as his instruments. Moses was one such prophet. A prophet is somebody who hears voices in his head and sees visions. That is not what happens to "normal, intelligent people." Being a prophet of God is abnormal. If God speaks to you, you are going to be different -- either you are different to begin with, or the voice of God will make you different.

The prophet doesn't choose what words to write down -- God tells him what to write down. And it is written down in the holy books of the Bible, both Old and New Testaments. We don't get to decide God's word -- God tells us the way it is going to be. We have free will, and we can defy God if we wish, but the consequences of doing so are not pretty, as we are finding out in our society today.
