Most people understand the euphemism "part ways".
Carlson was connecting the dots of manipulation beyond media, beyond social battles and constructs, and into the realm of finance, economics and ultimately behind the Potemkin Village of UniParty politics.
I believe this is the salient point. Carlson is now a liability, inspite of his big audience or because of it. Fox's advertisers are threatened, the plutocracy is threatened.
Tucker is free.
