Dogs rule, and cats can be useful. Can't imagine a home with out them patrolling, keeping the vermin, of all types, out.

Interesting, I’ve lived in a city, dogs kept the nogs at bay, the cats caught and killed the mice. In the suburbs I’m in now, we have coyotes the dogs keep away and the cats help keep the squirrels out of the fruit trees. I’m currently shopping for some acreage in the mountains and I can foresee dogs keeping the bears and deer out of the garden and the cats help keeping the garden free of rabbits and crows.
