Well, this was posted to twitter and a community note was quickly attached. However, the content was not the focus of the fact check. The ONLY part that was fact checked was the video being AI generated. You would think if the content was provably false that it would have been included in the community notes as well. Who knows.

Those guys freak the fuck out if a non union guy even steps foot on the dock. No way in hell they would just step aside and let strange guys come in and start taking containers.

This is not true. Teamsters are NOT the only ones working the docks and they would most assuredly step out of the way if told to. Port Canaveral is just one example of a US port that does not use union workers at all to load and unload ships. There are more than 300 US ports. Only 36 of them exclusively use union workers. The Longshoremen's strike is the real fear mongering fake news.

I'm not claiming the story is true. More rather that it is not as easily dismissed as you claim.

Longshoreman, that's right, not teamsters.

I thought they did almost all the dockwork?

I also noticed the AI but it would make sense if it were true because people might not want to be recorded.

I dunno man, still seems like fear mongering to me. At least the Harbormaster would be calling the police or the feds or someone.

I would suspect that it is the feds doing the unsanctioned loading/unloading if it is true.

Oh yea, if it's true then its 100% the feds.
