They didn't take into account when the new one collapses under its own weight because the lead architect was a black woman, this is her first project, and she thought it was great because it looked good when she built it in Minecraft out of cobblestone, and it was one span with no supports or suspension cables.

I feel like I posted this before. It took around 5 years to build but because "modern times" its going to take at least 10+.. Probably more like 25 and it will go 100x over budget.

What a fucking failure of a nation.

It only took 1 year and 45 days to build the Empire State building and less than 5 years to build the Hoover Dam.

California's High Speed Rail was supposed to be done...in 2018. And people are still trying to fund it even though it will never do what the proposition promised.

It's become a donors' jobs program at this point.

Civilization needs to just break away from government. If we want something done, then we vote for it with our money. Everyone who paid into gets to fully oversee it, stamp out the corruption, skimming, kick backs, and gong over budget.
