Pops and I haven't been close in a long time, but he's getting old and I've been trying to reach out in various ways for awhile now. Finally something clicked
He likes puzzle games and in one comversation he mentioned a particular one that he's been hooked on, so I started playing it too. After about a month of messing around with it I figured out how to play it pretty well and caught up to him in ranking.
He's been playing this game for maybe a half a year and still grinding.
Rather than gloat that I'm better at it, I decided to record my games so he can watch and see what I've learned.
It doesn't sound like much, but I've always known he's much smarter than me, so it's cool to finally teach him something
