I know what you think I am saying, but that's not what I am saying.

I am saying that someone who truly knows God is only going to ask God for what makes life tolerable, based on the understanding that we are imperfect and to ask for a huge boon from God, is for God to condone our imperfection. It explains why he does next to nothing.

In a perfect world, everything will be in balance. We will be simultaneously 1) Free, 2) Fair 3) Loved.

Fairness is essentially the equal exchange of experience from the part to the whole, and the whole to the part (in all causal groupings).

Freedom is free will.

Love is intervention from God; mercy from justice, then restoration of the previous two qualities (because God can do that).

Trying balancing those 3 things. Only God can do that. We think our noblest intentions are good, but they are just imperfect on an eternal scale that God can see.

We appeal to God's mercy to be granted small things that help life become tolerable. But its up to God to grant those things.

I know what you think I am saying, but that's not what I am saying.

Pretty sure I got it right and you just doubled down on my impression.

Love is intervention from God

But its up to God to grant those things.

You view daddy god as a gift bringer where you bear no responsibility for the world as is nor the sins of man. In short you're a nigger who wants God to 'gibs me dat' or he is not worthy of you.

i.e. Infantile and transactional

You need to lack more hope to truly understand what I mean.

You haven't begun to inquire into God's motive or nature. Or pray to the wind by yourself alone, because you have a GF, or a kid, or something that gives you hope for the future. Easy to feel "responsible" when you are rewarded with continuity and purpose.

Try having nothing but time, loneliness and desperation and you will understand the true meaning of a prayer for help.

People like that have a more direct relationship to God, simply because that IS all they have. And yes, things are asked for, with the hope they will be answered.

Go hug your family and be thankful that you are shielded from such difficulty. God will give different tests based on what can be handled.

You're making a ton of assumptions about someone you know nothing about in an attempt to justify you feelings. < This is infantile.

Instead of praying for deliverance like door dash order, try praying for the strength to endure and and guidance on what actions will make your situation better, then act yourself. This is how God is more likely to show up and make difference in your life.

This is the position of thankfulness from which this whole interaction started, my original point, and why you and Taylor Swift are wrong. I'll pray that you find the resolve to make things improve for you.

i.e. Go find a men's group at a chuch (you may need to try several). Open yourself to new ideas, don't bring an attitude, see what happens.
