I dont do much for social media. Dont have much use for any of the platforms. I do have a Nextdoor account but it doesnt have me the same way nosebook used to have me. I use it to give away and get free stuff. Because of the highly consumeristic lifestyle of the city, people are constantly giving away good stuff because they just upgraded. I take free and cheap furniture and refurbish them for a hobby.

I do have to resist the temptation to bait the neighbors with posts though. I normally dont keep up with the "news feed" or comment much, not like I did with facebook. But the other day I couldnt resist temptation, so I went to make a post. All it said was "Here's the definition for 'invasion' per google.com", a post just like that (not word for word but same concept). The nextdoor site auto-censored that shit. Just the definition and word invasion was enough for it to be auto censored. I'm a bit trolly and like to push the envelope, so I made a new post. "Can people help me with a question? What is the definition for the word invasion? I thought I knew but seem to have forgotten." which resulted in some slightly funny comment replies.

The most common comment I got was people describing an invasion of bugs in the kitchen. The next most common comment I got was white guilt trips of how horrible white people invaded other peoples lands and tortured natives. Another one was along the lines of MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS where a local replied to him, "triggered".

Real whatever but thought someone might enjoy a laugh

I stopped using that shithole site within weeks of using it at first. It’s like a local Reddit. I knew right away it was shit when they had a story about a nigger committing problems and they censored the description. Fuck that site.

That is a thing to consider when using the app. Trolling there isn't fun, like kicking puppies. I live in a highly consumeristic city and they give away good stuff all the time so much that there's a "for sale or free" tab. I don't have spending money, but I like having nice things. So I take old shitty solid wood furniture, sand it down, prep it and give it a nice varnish, or stain it if I couldnt get the wood to look nice, then varnish. I'm living like a queen now!
