I dont do much for social media. Dont have much use for any of the platforms. I do have a Nextdoor account but it doesnt have me the same way nosebook used to have me. I use it to give away and get free stuff. Because of the highly consumeristic lifestyle of the city, people are constantly giving away good stuff because they just upgraded. I take free and cheap furniture and refurbish them for a hobby.

I do have to resist the temptation to bait the neighbors with posts though. I normally dont keep up with the "news feed" or comment much, not like I did with facebook. But the other day I couldnt resist temptation, so I went to make a post. All it said was "Here's the definition for 'invasion' per google.com", a post just like that (not word for word but same concept). The nextdoor site auto-censored that shit. Just the definition and word invasion was enough for it to be auto censored. I'm a bit trolly and like to push the envelope, so I made a new post. "Can people help me with a question? What is the definition for the word invasion? I thought I knew but seem to have forgotten." which resulted in some slightly funny comment replies.

The most common comment I got was people describing an invasion of bugs in the kitchen. The next most common comment I got was white guilt trips of how horrible white people invaded other peoples lands and tortured natives. Another one was along the lines of MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS where a local replied to him, "triggered".

Real whatever but thought someone might enjoy a laugh

Posting "certain" statements of fact can get you censored. It's problematic if people start making their own thoughts OR when those thoughts deviate from the "current" narrative.
