The other day I was in the city. I hate driving in the city. I pulled into what I thought was a parking lot for the place i needed, but for some ungodly reason there was a divider and if I wanted the right parking lot I'd have to go back out into traffic. I didn't want to do that but I didn't want them to boot my car, which happens sometimes if you park in a lot where you don't intend to use the parking lot for the intended buildings. So that's how I ended up in a starbucks.

While waiting for the coffee I noticed on the menu they advertised putting extra virgin olive oil in their coffee as a cool new option. Then I noticed in their merch they had a tiny fancy looking container you can buy that is simply extra virgin olive oil. The price wasn't on it so I assume it's overpriced.

Now, I did host a post a while back asking about the way people like to take their coffee and I was surprised at the number of people who put oil in their coffee, but I never saw anyone comment anything about olive oil. But if extra virgin olive oil is yummy in coffee, will fancy oil really improve the experience that much?

Not a rant, just perplexed

Well, I have no idea. Some people were saying they love the creamy feeling of hot coffee with melted oil in it, but mostly if its been well blended like with a tool or something. But they were talking about coconut oil and other oils with health benefits. I have no fucking clue why people would want XV-Olive-Oil in their coffee, I was hoping someone would come out of the woodworks and explain that there is some benefit and give the hidden backstory on this. Otherwise it's just some more weird clown world business.

I mean olive oil is healthy, but this just sounds like some instakike influencer novelty crap.

it does, feel bad for anyone who's been doing that for a while now
