Sure, but the cancer was easily distinguished from normal human cancer. So it works, but only if it's cancer that isn't from human cells. Cancer is still human cells normally, just the wrong type of cell grown in the wrong place at the wrong rate.

The subtle between the lines is the nig was so infiltrated with parasites combined with a completely dysfunctional/ hiv ridden compromised immune system, he was harboring a thriving mass colony of birth to death/ rotting parasites inside himself.
