Get yourself these while you still have hands: https://www.mechanix.com/us-en/
They look decent, have you tried them?
Yes, they were cheap ones but did a great job at protecting my hands on several occasions, highly recommend them. Comfortable too.

Your index (pointer) finger is longer than your ring finger. It's probably just a jewish lie, but there are studies that suggest that a longer ring finger means a person had more in utero testosterone exposure and a longer index finger means more in utero estrogen exposure. Like I said, probably just kike lies but it's unusual to see a man with a longer index finger than his ring finger.
Not gonna lie, I look like a caveman. My daughter thinks I'm the guy in 10,000 bc. I tell my wife that means she's Raquel Welch.
Also, if you were born with XY chromosomes but wear a dress, you or your parents were likely exposed to high levels of jewry.
Turns out my ring finger is longer, it was just an illusion from the way my hand was turned.
Also here's a good article on the science https://www.science.org/content/article/talk-hand-scientists-try-debunk-idea-finger-length-can-reveal-personality-and-health
Basically there are problems reproducing the results of studies, and the digit ratio itself perhaps meaningless.
Keep an eye on the cuticle. You do not want an infection there. Hope it heals up quickly
I rarely worry about such things. I mean the pinky incident I did take care, but usually I let a minor wound run course with limited interference. My immune system is up to it.
I have the same carpet, but yours is in much better condition and isn't faded/worn out. Mine sheds little reddish/purple powder/dust from deteriorating and I need to vacuum it/under it regularly. Should get a new one. I also have the same skin issue behind my middle finger with bumps/scar tissue where individual hairs grow. The hair growing from there sometimes gets stuck under the hard skin/scar tissue and is an irritation. I usually nibble that skin a little to get the hair out of it and then pull it out with my teeth.
Yeah, got the carpet cheap at an old local department store. It ain't great, it carpets. Took a look after your comment, I just scratched the back of my hand, didn't run the skin off.
You're turning into Jeff goldbloom in the fly man
Am not!
Has the wife had an ultrasound yet?
You betcha, she's only at ten weeks. It's more about hearing that new little heart at this point.
