Misinformation on what particular date? Misinformation often becomes accepted fact if you'd just stfu and give the truth a minute to catch up. My reasoning 'on the fly' is first reports are always wrong. My response usually is 'are they lying on purpose or are they just wrong?' To be cautious, I assume its for nefarious purposes.
