The only real problem with any system is you can cheat, lie and corrupt it. Most people don't participate, they are perfectly fine doing whatever they're told. Jim Jones made that very clear.

That would be a disaster for the same reason as would flying cars. The large percentage of the public is idiotic, apathetic, and manipulable by pure emotion. A Republic was and remains the way to go but we must find a way to prevent career politicians and keep the representation bound to interests of the common citizenry, not puppets of the highest bidder.

Term limits and public annual audits of every politician from the local level to the top would be a start.

A few things need to change. We need to go back to land ownership for voting rights and we need to take the money out of DC. No salary for Senators and Reps (or very small salary) and no trading stocks/bonds or anything like that while in office. No lifetime healthcare or pension after serving. Term limits for all public offices state and federal.

That's the beauty of it. You don't vote for someone to represent you, you represent yourself. You can choose to vote or not vote on any given issue.

Let's say the issue is immigration. Everyone on Martha's Vineyard votes for more immigration because it feels good. Everyone in Alamo, Tx votes against immigration because they hate spics. Any new immigrants go to Martha's Vineyard first. If you voted to let more of them in, you and your community now have to provide for them. You'd be surprised how quick those liberal assholes would switch politics once they had to deal with the consequences of their own decisions. And when they had to fill out their tax return (if the IRS even survives in a free system), there would be an additional tax placed on anyone who voted for more welfare, EBT, section 8, immigration. It's easy to be gregarious with other people's money, ...not so much when you're forced to pay for it yourself.

I think he did win legitimately. Despite the nationwide election fraud that plotted to put Hillary in, Trump got more votes than their corrupt system could handle. I think Trump got 90% of the vote in 2016. The system was rigged to give Hildawg about 35%. By 2020, they fixed it to give Biden 80%.
