What??? That's insane. I remember one time in a low laying area near Arizona only AM worked. FM doesn't work if you go below sea level. Mind you I just play podcasts when I drive and never noticed that. When I did night data entry I loved Coast to Coast AM but I liked Art Bell more than George Norry.
