Yes, quality has gone down over the past decade but still way better than walmart boots. Look at the 2408.

Looks like they've upped the price $80 since my last pair. Still worth it. They also sell an epoxy that you can coat the front of your boot to protect from tearing the leather on the toe.

If you need absolute water proofing then this is the creme. Puncture proof was worth it alone but the waterproofing gets hot in the summers.
