If cars are on both sides you gotta back straight out... how can anything but 0 be correct?
Ah I wasn’t precise in language. Obviously you’re turning your car in reverse. But how far do you turn?
So I’m picturing a football field sized parking lot with cars only parked nose-in along one sideline, essentially unlimited space to do whatever you want once you’ve backed beyond the cars next to you.
In general I choose 0° if that’s an option. It’s extra maneuvering, extra wear on your tires and suspension, extra things to look out for if you’re turning in reverse when you have the option to only turn once, once you’ve put it in drive.
Other than that scenario it’s entirely dependent on the parking lot/parking jobs of the people around you
I believe he/she (whatever) is referring to after you've completed backing and are putting it into drive to pull away.
