1) Why is the earth's shadow on the moon always round during a lunar eclipse?
How do you know it's the earth's shadow?
2) Why is the earth's gravity slightly stronger at the poles than at the equator? (this has been proven by swinging a pendulum at the poles and equator)
According to whom? Have you done these tests yourself?
3) Why do ships that sail away into the ocean gradually sink out of sight, below the horizon?
Why is it that the same ship, after sinking out of sight, can be seen again by zooming in with a P900 camera?
4) Why does the position of the stars change as you travel north or south from the equator?
No idea. Why is it that the same side of other planets are always facing earth? I've heard the "tidal locked" theory for the moon, but not as it pertains to other planets like saturn, etc.
I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm just saying the math doesn't add up. That's why I ask questions. Particularly once I realized that I was accepting theories fed to me by governments, and not things I have tested myself.
