I 150% agree. We CAN explore to the ends of the earth. But we instead stay in place and stare up at the sky. Believe in an Ice Wall and you instinctively ( as a man) desire to travel beyond it. It's something you and I could do today. But, we don't. Because we believe it's a ball that is already completely explored. We believe the only place left to go is space, and that is something we won't be able to do for 50, 100, 200 years.

Just stop. I have an old friend that builds amateur rockets with her husband. She knows this guy. You can clearly see the curvature of the earth from the cameras of his rocket launches.

You say the video proves it's an oblate spheroid. How? Is it because the cutoff point in the distance has a "curve" to it? You would get the same visual effect from a flat plane with a diffuse light at the end of its reach. It would make a circle on the ground at the points where the light intersects with the plane.
From a high altitude, one could see the edges of that circle of light intersecting with the ground. Thus, a curved edge.
Or it's because we're on a spinning ball. It's not enough evidence to draw a logical conclusion.

I literally just showed you amateur video showing the curvature of the earth from 250k+ feet.
1) Why is the earth's shadow on the moon always round during a lunar eclipse?
2) Why is the earth's gravity slightly stronger at the poles than at the equator? (this has been proven by swinging a pendulum at the poles and equator)
3) Why do ships that sail away into the ocean gradually sink out of sight, below the horizon?
4) Why does the position of the stars change as you travel north or south from the equator?
