Legal battle? It would be vandalism, leaving blood and an animal body there or anywhere it wasn't permitted by the property owners, plus cruelty to animals, and if the bull was stolen, probably a felony based on value of meat these days.

And don't forget you're not just leaving a body there. In order to do it right you have to burn the entrails and outside the skin etc. It's pretty brutal really.

That defense strategy doesn't matter on someone else's private property. Probably a permit issue if they did it without a permit on public property.
