I think people have developed a lack of trust for others and society as a whole. For me, it started with 9/11 and ever since then I've learned to distrust most people and organizations in society. The one thing that would help the dating game, I think, is to increase trust towards other people. I have no idea how that can be done, but if it could be done, it would help.
