Got put thru the paces work-wise. Spent 9-4 testing repaired gear, cleaning ERP and lookin at BOM lists for builds that are gonna be down to the minute next month.. Then today’s last-minute audio amp system needed some attention for nearly obsolete digital-over-audio signal-line (110ohm AES). Got er working around 20 after 5, in time to get next door to “fix” system at the theatre. Was no problem, guy couldn’t test the rig ‘cause he didn’t understand how to route the console. Easy peasy, done in 10 min, billed for an hour. Then on to bullshit show with my dear cover band guys. Owner just bought it from his pops, not good audio system even tho pops worked with the big dawgs. Got ‘er sounding right once I figured out they wanted a club mix in a restaurant. Fuckin owner guy disappeared, prob doin coke in his office. Even in my job, I hate loud shows. Well I like to think I got a “good” loud. Good enough pay. Got the gamut and won, mostly. I can’t say I don’t enjoy my work.
