When my kids wanted a smart phone, I handed them a bag of ICs, a circuit board, screen, and a case. Turns out they learn real quick which side of a soldering iron is the hot one. I don't raise lazy kids. If they're cold in the winter, they can grab the chainsaw and cut some firewood just like their one-legged older brother.
