Fun and cheap to get into. I've been surprised at how many public courses there are around the states. While I am sure their are private courses you have to pay for, I have never seen one. Getting the right discs for your throwing style is important. You can play with as little as 1 disc but, I'd say 3 disc: a long range, mid, and a putter, is the best to start with.
With discs being so cheap it's really easy to just have a second set for allowing a friend to come along.
