Seems like they are fewer and fewer between. Think Facebook market and ebay has killed them.

Fun and cheap to get into. I've been surprised at how many public courses there are around the states. While I am sure their are private courses you have to pay for, I have never seen one. Getting the right discs for your throwing style is important. You can play with as little as 1 disc but, I'd say 3 disc: a long range, mid, and a putter, is the best to start with.

With discs being so cheap it's really easy to just have a second set for allowing a friend to come along.

It's fun. Just like anything else, you can go as deep as you want. From just taking an afternoon by yourself to going full on league/tournament play.
