There are two forms of reality: Consensus reality, which only exists in a group of like-minded persons and personal reality, which is subjective and impossible to get anyone else to recognize without it becoming consensus reality.

"Recognizing reality for what it is" is just your cope for going along with a lesser consensus reality. I don't recognize your reality any more than you recognize mine, all I know is what I can glean from your comments, which is that you care about what's on the news for some reason. I don't know anyone who watches the news.

I care about what goes on in the world because it will eventually effect me. The news effects the world.

The news effects the world of those who live in the news-world. I don't live in that world.

The most the news effects me is this conversation, really. You're the one keeping it on life support, LOL.

I don't live in that world.

You are in denial. The news effects everyone around you. It effects your government. It effects your schools. It effects your community.

If you are not informed you can't effect the laws that the woke mob passes. You can't save your kids from the predatory grooming of educators and media. You can't slow or counter the social decay that destroys all the public spaces, the looting that closes down local resources, or the riots that bankrupt the local coffers and promote crime.

You ignore the world at your own peril.
