Not only has PayPal RE-instituted $2500 fine for "misleading" information, etc it says it can hold ALL the money in your accounts for up to six months "if reasonably needed to protect against the risk of liability or if you have violated our Acceptable Use Policy."

So some of my normie friends insist on using Venmo. They give me a hard time whenever they need to pay me back for something with cash because I refuse to use Venmo. Since Venmo is owned by PayPal, I feel better in my decision not to use it.

I get the same bullshit. Nobody wants to write a check anymore. I tell them I don't have PayPal and won't get PayPal. Sometimes I lose money because of it.

Yeah, some people actually get upset they have to use an ATM, even if there are no fees. Our desire for "convenience" will be a part of our downfall.
