I know exactly how bullets work, and it doesn't matter if it's rimfire or center-fire. It's called pressure, with no chamber to contain the blast and build pressure to push the projectile it just kinda pops out of the shell. It's not harmless but nowhere near as powerful. I don't want to be in front of either one.

But with cement and hammer smashing from either side while potentially pinching the bullet and casing together is it not possible the casing fractured a piece off from the pressure?
