This is one of my favorites. I know the story behind it though.

The drunken clown represents a particular Hollywood movie director (yes, Early Life) that married and divorced one of my great-aunts. She'd tried being an actress, but, you can guess the rest.
So she ended up more or less a shut in and painted a bunch of semi-disturbing things. Even found a marketing print from one of his movies as the backing on one of them. Never made it as a painter either. Fucking sad man. All her stuff just feels sad.
But this clown one, at least she still had a sense of humor, cynical as it was.
Any prints available for that?
