Once prices calm down a bit... Gotta be manual, pretty locked in to Ford.

Top picks are 2022 2-door Bronco 7-speed! (when available), or a Focus ST 6-Speed. How bad of an idea is it to order/ buy a brand new car? Don’t care about depreciation cause I would have no plans on selling. 7speed is base model so not too pricey.

Otherwise, a tiny “rally” car getting 35mpg would be a lot of fun, used from 2017 if I recall. I’ve read they’re actually perfectly comfortable for guys my height. Race seats and whatnot.

Still keeping my stick shift Escape; I don’t want to drive it into the ground-getting close. Big truck or lil hatch?.. Would be nice to be able to tow. Also would be nice to take country road corners at 70 cause I can.

Any thoughts fellas?

If you settle on a new Ford, do yourself a favor and never sign up for Sirius radio. They will give you a free Sirius radio package for 3 - 12 months but as soon as you don't want it anymore, you will still be stuck with Sirius in your media options and constantly hear commercials for it. Only way to fix this is to buy a new head unit/receiver or simply don't sign up or allow dealer to sign it up before you leave the lot.

Part true. If you have to get it, change out the head unit to make sure SXM works. Now when it gets close to subscription expiring, call in to cancel it. The CSR will give you 3 free months out the gate. Still say no and $12.99 a month is kinda high. CSR will give you "6 free months" if you prepay for the rest of the year at 6.99 a month. Pay it. Done it 3 years in a row now.

That only works if you want Sirius in your vehicle and like pushing 4 extra buttons to exit Sirius if you accidentally enter it. I couldn't imagine paying a jewish media conglomerate for sub par content, but to each his own...
