I don’t know why I decided to carve a lizard but I don’t think a 4” grinder is gonna hit those tight spots without getting me a couple more times.

Aye. I was more upset that I had to reset the clock, can’t even remember the last time I got bit by a power tool…

It still happens especially doing what I do. Does suck atleast then wound is carterized . Like that put witch hazel on it or piney oil on it

Looking good. Nice job.

Before I read the OP, I thought it was forming into a Pegasus with its wings stretched out behind it though.

I see what you’re saying, maybe next time. Funny how the basic lines are so similar, with a few addendums and a different perspective bada bing bada boom.

They don't make some kind of a vise for you to use?

Get two pieces of wood and drill a hole in them both and use a nice long bolt and a tee nut and nail one side to the plywood or something.

I suppose I could clamp it down, but with all angles I have to attack from… I’d rather just try to be more careful. Went too deep, back of the chuck rubbed the stone and my hand was in the way. Stupid mistake, I’ll live.

I’m gonna bet you finished your smoke and got back to it.

Course I did. Didn’t finish, apparently the wife and two month old daughter are “more important” than my hobbies… chicks. Haha

Looking good. Don't breathe that dust, bro.

You sound like my wife. But yeah, this is definitely a “mask required” situation.

Dremel time

At some point, yes. But I got plenty of bulk work for the grinder still.

I see the lizard now. Is that stone or concrete?

Stone, blue stone. A scrap from the coping on a pool job I did.

Make sure to share the final piece. Looks like it'll turn out nice.

I was wondering why the stock had an odd shape to it.

Yeah, she went bullnose for the coping. Can’t blame her, it looks sharp. I had to cut a 45 back 5” to meet up between the pool and vault cover. Not a big deal, but with the cost of materials these days I took my time on the job. Client’s cut looks sharp, and I got a couple nice scraps to play with.

Tis but a scratch, I tell you!

Please, yeah me more of how sheep bladders can be used to prevent earthquakes.

Looks like a Mexican flag, all red white and green.

As much as I hate spics, I must admit… I do love a good burrito.

I also enjoy a taco or several now and again.

My God man, moisturize! Those hands look drier than pavement

I don’t know if you’ve ever cut stone before, but it generates a fair amount of dust. I may be a bit rough, but I’m not nearly that ashy.
