I came here after voat shutdown. i reluctantly called this place home at first but found myself feeling comfortable here after a while. never posted much, mostly just lurked, commented and sprinkled some upvotes around. never made a name for myself, never made any waves. had some good conversations and some good laughs. learned a thing or two.

lately i've been taking a better look at my health both physically and mentally. started going to the gym again and focusing more on being a better husband and father. naturally it has left me less time for this place and i find myself being on my phone less in general the last few weeks. i was still popping in here but mostly just scrolling in the morning and commenting sporadically when i had the time.

two days ago i checked in here in the afternoon i found my account nuked and flaired with our merchant friend. tried a pm, tried commenting and getting an answer as to why with no response. initially i thought maybe it was just a bug. then i found myself being pretty upset about it. after all this time and for no reason that i can understand i get shit on and practically kicked out of the community i've called home for the last year and a half.

i've had some time now to chew on it and as much as some of you would love to see a hissy fit where i post a bunch of vile things about aou, the "algorithm", or poal in general, i think this is a sign i'm on the right path. less time on here and more time focusing on myself and my family seems to be the best thing for me right now.

most of you don't care. i don't expect anyone to. like i said i'm a nobody here. some, if not most of you will shit on this which i do expect, so thanks for not letting me down in that regard.

take care of this place. despite the flaws there's no other place quite like it. when the hot war starts i'll look for the poaler bear banner. thank you all and god bless each and every last one of you. except the glownigger faggot kikes.

That's because your account has been mainly used to upvote days old posts/comments from tagged glownigger accounts.

You can call it a cohencidence, but logs don't lie. A dozen other sleepers have been caught doing the same thing in the past few days, barely commenting and posting, but mainly upvoting the same group of tagged accounts.

Genuine mistake then on my part. I honestly just haven't been on Poal much lately. I don't pay attention to post age when I'm on nor do I pay attention to usernames. Like I said I pretty much scroll for a few minutes in the morning then it's off to work where I might check again in the afternoon on my lunch break.

I wouldn't expect you to believe that I'm just a regular guy. All I have is my word and I'm just a stranger on the internet. Thanks for the response at least and thanks again for the good times. I truly wish you all the best.

I appreciate that man. I've overlooked a lot of obvious signs when I was younger. I don't want this to be another missed opportunity. I deleted my Reddit account years ago, Voat went under, now this. I feel like it couldn't be anymore obvious.

Lots of people just use poal to aggregate alt news and comment on a story here and there, doesn’t mean they are a ‘sleeper account’ … whatever that even means.
