Yesterday I was twenty or thirty glorious fake internet points (FIPs) away from the esteemed level 30. Salivating, I could taste the incredible honor with which I was about to be crowned, when out of nowhere, tragedy struck. Twenty five of my beloved FIPs disappeared.

I was accustomed to the drill. This wasn’t the first time. Housekeeping finds bots or JIDF accounts and neutralizes them, thus nuking some of my score.

Then this morning I emerge from my stupor to find myself at the mercy of a Great Reset. I was raided by the Poal IRS and lost another 100 or so FIPs.

Curse those fake accounts for costing me FIPs. Now I have to do actual work to join the pantheon of PoalStars.

Like I said, my FIPs shortage reflects my own laziness.

I seem to mostly put up text posts about history or economics. These are not barn burners (or cross burners) because they’re just verbose vamping, lightly cited.

Even among the like-minded of Poal, I don’t have what it takes to muster a lot of support, not that it bothers me. I block a lot of users, too, because I have low levels of patience for people I see as “lost causes.”

In all, I’m just here for the news, and occasional banter or snark.
