Because they are both good at using their fan base to get what they want while not really delivering real results. Sure Trump made gas cheap but he didn't lock up any of the swamp creatures in his four years. But I'm sure he'll do it in 2024 if he gets elected again, right? Surely he'll do it next time. A lot of the swamp is toast already. The elections, etc. are just back filling and for show (for the normies) The challenge is determining who is left and who is gone. Trump talks about getting rid of a lot of civil servants, but they are already gone. More back filling.
