Well, well, this is soooo sweet, so amazing... Imagine these people which work on his spiritual ascension and in same time want to help and improve human society. But... why then, they are so greedy toward money, authority, all kind of power. Why they chose only rich and influential people to join them? Why everyone who is chosen very fast become even more richer - powerful? Why they don't show any kind of 'spiritual improvements'... why they don't do some real, useful things for society with all money and power they have? And so on, and so on................................ Heh, just one of many romantic fairy tales for naive people. Bunch of 'mystic', metaphysic, hermetic bullshit. And behind all this babbling just another club for elite.
