I don't know. The women fight over white guys here. There's more than enough female attention. Hookers would be in Pham Ngu Lao. It's not a red light district because those are illegal but there are lots of foreigners there and so lots of bar girls too. Unfortunately a beer costs almost $4.50 there now so maybe that tells you something. Go somewhere else in the city like Thanh Da where it's full of locals and a beer is less than $1.
There's better countries for whoring. But for just getting pursued by multiple sex-crazed desperate 90 lbs spinners who want to marry you and have 10 babies there's no place on earth like Vietnam.

No covid restrictions. The visa process usually involves getting a government permission letter via a private business (online forms and payment), then you bring that letter and get visa on arrival at the airport. If you want to wait longer and pay more you can use an embassy or consulate, but then at least you have the visa before departure. I've seen "entertainment industry" sleezeballs denied visa on arrival before (dirty fat short wop wearing a chain and wife beater and looking the part 100%). Just make sure everything matches. If you plan to stay for 2 weeks but your form letter says 4, say you'll stay 4 weeks. Getting out is easy, but COVID restrictions in China, Japan, and Taiwan mess with flight options. Singapore and Korea are open but have some paperwork hoops and Singapore at least wants 2 shots which I have (boosters only requird in SIN if you're staying for 90 days). There are Vietnam Airlines non-stop flights between SFO and SGN so those might be the best option but they only depart once a week. HTH. Bring a wingman so at least one of the girls in every pair get a consolation prize.
