I was offered unlimited oil changes for the duration of my contract. Apparently, unlimited is limited to one oil change every 8000kms. Bumper to bumper coverage did not cover numerous items found between those bumpers, including the cv axle joint. Additionally, the payments they tried to offer me far exceeded the agreed upon price. Dealerships are con artists that employ fast talking finance officers to recoup the money they "lose" from desperate salespeople. Don't pretend they're not.
8000km? That's a 5k mile service interval. Maintenance plans go by the manufacturers recommended maintenance schedule. Not by whatever your grandaddy told you is proper.
What if you wanted an oil change every 500 miles? Are dealers thieves if they don't give it to you, even though it's not in the contract you didn't read.
This is the kind of nonsense from stupid asshole customers that gives dealers a bad name.
CV JOINTS? Really? How about brake pads too? Wear and tear items. Parts that wear out over time and are not covered.
I dont know of a single warranty ever that pays for wear and tear items.
Again, you didn't read or understand anything you purchased. You simply heard someone say "bumper to bumper" and "sign here" and you did.
You have 30 days to cancel a warranty after you purchase it for full refund. You didn't even go home and read it. It's so much easier to blame a dealership than to take responsibility for your own actions.
Owner's manual says change more often if driven in harsh conditions.

You really are a sleazeball dealer. Of course things wear out over time, that's why people want a warranty. What's the fucking point of a supposed "warranty" that doesn't cover shit breaking because it's old? The only reason left is because the car's a giant piece of shit and the dealer knows shit's gonna break because of defects.
No that's not why people want a warranty. Why would anyone presume that a car warranty includes maintenance items? It has never in the history of warranties covered wear and tear parts that due to the nature of the part it will likely need replaced no matter what.
Only people that can't or won't read something before they sign it would ever think that.
Your average 10yr warranty is 2500 bucks. If warranties worked the way you want them to they'd have to charge 10k.
I was sold unlimited. Look up what unlimited is defined as.
I'm sure it was sold exactly how it's being serviced. There is absolutely no way any reasonable person would expect that to mean you could be a perpetual revolving door of oil changes. Let's say weekly? Dealers are thieves because the contract says one thing but you want to do something fucking absurd? Auto contracts are based on normal use and they state your benefits exactly. This isn't up for fucking discussion.
