People invalidate contracts all the time. There's nothing you can do about it either unless you're willing to spend months battling in court. In the meantime your car needs to be repaired so you can go to work. They know only a small percentage of people will take the time and effort to battle them in court, so overall denying claims is economically efficient.

As a side note: NEVER buy an extended warranty from a car dealer. It's always a scam. If you buy one and something goes wrong they will try everything in the book to avoid covering it, and 9 times out of 10 you won't need it as long as you aren't buying from a shit car company.

Ask the salesperson why they're telling you how unreliable the car is in the middle of trying to sell it to you. Sometimes it's fun to get the sales manager and ask them why they let this guy be a salesman when he's sitting here telling customers how the cars are going to break down on them. It's like watching Jen Psaki explain "Putin's price increases."

"Mr. Customer, the vehicle you are buying is bulletproof. Do the general maintenance and this vehicle has 300k miles on the engine and transmission no problem. Here is the issue. The manufacturer outsources all of its MICROCHIPS, sensors, sonars, radars, LCD screens, electric motors for doors, windows, sunroof etc. Cars are more high tech than they've ever been and this stuff can't be fixed with a wrench. It must be replaces. What you're paying for is a guarantee that even with inflation like it is today, in 10 years we will fix all that stuff for free if it breaks."

But you just said they won't fix it. "All that stuff wears out over time, my friend. Since there has been some time since you bought the car you're plumb out of luck."

That is not true. There is a specific list, again, if you'd read, that are excluded. If it's not on the list it's a covered item. The list of excluded items are fucking common sense. Everything else is covered.
