Ontario conservative landslide election victory this week - renewed majority government for 5 years. Conservatives lost 20% of their voter turnout. (one in five refused to support them.) Libs lost only a token few but were already in non party status with only a million votes in a 14 million province. NDP lost 800,000 votes when more than 40% of their base failed to show up at the polls this week. Their actual turnout is only slightly more than the libs, and it cost them a bunch of seats. What happened here? The Federal NDP choosing Trudeau over the Truckers comes with a price tag attached. NDP is organized labor - and truckers are the very definition of organized labor. The NDP sold out the truckers during the protests, and this is the only reason Trudeau still has a job.
