Tanks by themselves? Exactly. Tanks as designed to fight are excellent. Who wouldn’t want to go into a fight with one of these steel beasts on their side? Gone are the days of tank to tank warfare like the battle of Kursk. But as an infantry soldier why would you go to battle without tank support? As a tank gunner, when we showed up with our tank, the infantry would point at the problem and we would blow it up. Good times!
