Babies born in hospitals are mich more likely to need formula. This is because the natural bonding does not take place due to the procedures in place for hospital birth. For example, the baby is taken from the mother immediately in most cases. A baby is not supposed to leave their mom immediately after being born...they are supposed to start nursing within a few minutes.
