College isn't bad if you do it right. Take as many classes at a community college as you can. Transfer to a cheap university anf then just learn all you can. Complaining about college not automatically installing intelligence in your mind is like complaining about the gym not automatically enlarging your muscles. You still have to do the work. Yes, modern colleges are businesses that try to make money. So are gyms. Yes modern colleges are rip offs most of the time. So are the gyms. Just find the right one and put the work in. It's not a deep philosophical question. Just train yourself or don't. Nobody gives a fuck if you go to college or not. You can get a CDL and drive a truck, or you can get a college diploma and get a job in an office. Nobody gives a fuck which path you take. Acting like it's the college's duty to hand you a job is some retarded, nigger tier IQ argument. Most of the time, the employer just wants to see a diploma to see that you were able to finish a four year commitment without dropping out.
