I'm in the housing market now. Have to leave the unfortunate state I'm in. However, housing prices have nearly doubled in the last year. It's frustrating. "You'll own nothing and be happy" allies appear to be buying up all the houses still reasonably priced. Many are under contract. It's beyond criminal inflation! Consequently, I'll be getting a cheaper home in a more conservative place and will pay for it in cash.
