That said lowering wages(maybe I'm misinterpreting him) wouldn't help at all.

We should consider making Trump's favored nation EO apply to other markets than just pharma and maybe apply it globally. The EO made it so you couldn't upcharge(price gouge) americans for being americans. If you sold insulin for 200 bucks here but for 2 bucks in nigeria you had to sell it for 2 bucks here.

Pharma companies pioneered this system of price gouging subsidy they will sell for a loss in disadvantaged markets and markup their product in the first world to cover their losses. They write off the losses as charity and use it as leverage in international politics.
