I then sold every game, console, and anything else related on eBay, and haven’t played since

I bought some shitty games in a row, and only played half way through them. After that, I just stopped buying video games. I had some enjoyable hours playing various games, but I don't miss playing them. They just got less and less interesting until I ceased to care about them.
