no plan to either

just one day found it extremely boring, and never played them again

What is interesting, is that I was THE biggest gamer. I balanced a full time life—work and school—with like 40 hours a week of gaming

Then one day in my late teens, probably right before I turned 20, it just didn’t hit the same

I then sold every game, console, and anything else related on eBay, and haven’t played since

anyone else experience this?

Personally, I think it was just because I had started getting serious about other interests I had, and felt like gaming was getting in the way

Too many auto aim faggots on PUBG

I was just using PUBG for sake of example. It applies to games I actually like, too.

Lately, Elden Ring- I would really like to beat it, but at this rate, it's gonna be quite a while. And not because I'm total trash at souls games, but just because I don't have much free time to dedicate to it, and making incremental progress in that game gets harder and harder as the Grace sites (fires) get farther and farther apart, and the enemies get tougher and tougher, and I have to practice vs. the harder bosses more times...

Sometimes, modern games feel overwhelming. Too much shit going on, all of the screens are too busy, UI is a fucking gaudy mess, there are dozens of interconnected systems- sometimes too much is bad.
