What is this? Found in my basement [4032x3024 - 1.28MB] (pic8.co)

It has a three-quarter inch nut on it and it opens like a jack. But it is not hydraulic. It has to weigh over 100 pounds. It closes all the way. Looks like on the front and back it has two sets of holes to bolt it to something. Any idea?
